THE BRIGHTEST HOPE

THE BRIGHTEST HOPE

What’s beyond the mid-night?
A morning with a new glory

The children of our today
Coming heirs of tomorrow
What gives us this pretty hope?
The province of God is up before the dawn
This is evidence, God is with us
Helping us face what lies ahead
What comfort that holds for us
When we’re sure of what lies ahead
Our brightest hope is to know that
When we sleep at night,
If God tarries till the morrow,
Our morning will surely dawn…

And in my deepest below
I hold unto the glimpse of hope
That if I tarry till the "morrow"
My morning will surely DAWN!!!

Food for thought:

Man can help but only God can intervene…
Do not kill yourself, do not give up hope. You can bear that situation, You can overcome it.

2Corinthians4:17 (NIV) "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all."

2Corinthians4:16-18 (MSG) "So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever."

Romans4:17-22 (NKJV) "As it is written,“I have made you a father of many nations” in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.”  And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness".

Proverb 4:18 NKJV “But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever bright unto the perfect day.”

THE WORKS OF MY HANDS

              THE WORKS OF MY HANDS

               The Works of My Hands
     Are:
           As Precious as Gold
       As Pleasant as a Flower
     As Beautiful as a Garden
     As Conquering as Prayer
    As Marvelous as a Miracle
   As Wonderful as Success
         As Glittering as a Diamond
That’s The Work of My Hands
            Do You Appreciate Yours?

What is your gift or talent? Use it to conquer your world.

No great destiny just happens; it is consciously worked, cultivated and nurtured to greatness. In other words; work your talent/gift, cultivate it and nurture it to greatness.

Proverbs 18:16 NKJV. “A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men.”

‘I WILL’

                                     Dreams come true
Only the price makes it real
Dreams can be shattered
When you cannot pay the price for its shelter
Dream like the dreamer Joseph (Genesis 37:5)
The price of hard work will bring it through
Nothing can substitute for it.
Hard work is an acceptance of the responsibility on you
Be sensitive enough to responsibilities
This time, it is not ‘I-Q’ but its ‘I WILL’.

Food For Thought:

 ‘I-Q’ means Intelligent Quotient.

‘I CAN’ is how opportunity and greatness meet.

Philippians 4:13 NKJV “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.

Proverbs 22:29 NKJV “Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men”.

Happy 2017

Who I'm I Not To Give Thanks...

So… You think its cos’ you’re beautiful and smart,
Drop dead gorgeous, intelligent and fabulous;
Or cos’ you’ve got the ‘notes’,
Live in  fancy houses, eat scrumptious meals
Drive the luxury cars, wear fancy cloths, etc.
Oh…you do think its cos’ of all these
That’s made you see the break of another day;
Whole, Complete, Alive, Well -
In Health, Soundness and Rest?

But its cos’ of the Lord’s mercy that we are not consumed
Roasted, baked, toasted, frozen, fried, chewed, eaten and swallowed by lives travailing circumstances
We have prevailed, triumphed and conquered cos’ of the help from Above!

You say God hasn’t done anything for you since the year began
But you’ve got breath in your nostrils
You or members of your family and friends have not laid their backs on a hospital bed
You go out, come in, sleep, awake…
What! God deserves this praise, glory!

You are Alive,
You’re not happy cos’ you’re not married
You’re Alive,
You’re not fulfilled cos’ you’re married but childless
You’re Alive,
You’re not thankful simply cos’ you’re unemployed
You’re Alive,
You’re not grateful cos’ you have a job but no promotion
You’re Alive,
You remember that your friend just got a new house, car, job, or land but
You can walk, jump, run, or even swim; yet you fill empty and depressed cos’ you haven’t been able to secure yours…
They that compare themselves with themselves are not wise…

We live in an age of paradox
Someone slept under the bridge, woke up and was so… grateful he could take a good rest; with the hope that ‘today go better’!
Another person spent the night in a mansion, cos of the thought of how to protect and sustain his wealth and property, couldn’t sleep as he had insomnia.
It is God that has given us the power to make wealth and whatsoever the Lord does is forever; Nothing can be taken from it nor added to it.
Instead of property, what posterity are you living for your children?

Who I’m I to think I deserve to see the break of another day?
Who I’m I to think I am better off than others. i.e.
The ‘others’ on the street,
The ‘others’ without shelter
The ‘others’ without food
The ‘others’ without jobs/businesses
The ‘others’ with jobs without promotions
The ‘others’ without marriage
The ‘others’ with marriage but no children
The ‘others’ with money but no wealth
The ‘others’ with or without money but no health
The ‘others’ without fantasies and luxuries
Hmmm…, the ‘others’, ‘others’, others’…

I got to give thanks.
I got to sing praises and jump for joy
I got to be  glad and grateful
I got to be thankful for many things, all things and for everything!
Do you ask why?
It is because God is Good
God is Wonderful
God is Awesome
And in my unfaithfulness
He still remains very Faithful and Truthful…
Therefore, Who I’m I Not to Give Thanks?
I Am Made By GRACE!!!

Psalm92:1 “It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High”. NLT.
